Security Update

Good evening bloggers.

I thought I would blog about something that has recently come to our attention from one of our customers.

It was bought to our attention earlier today that there was an issue with SparkGate SSL connection.

What is SSL?
SSL or Secure Sockets Layer is related to all of your personal information sent from your computer to our servers via our website. It is the latest technology that establishes an encrypted (protected) connection between you and us. It was designed to protect you, the customer who we at SparkGate are adamant about protecting. When you send protected information including your bank card or credit card details and addresses, you put your full trust into us. As we fully respect. SSL protects you from unwanted visitors viewing your details.

We were I formed earlier today that SparkGates website (www.sparkgate.co.uk) has stopped displaying the SSL certificate issued by Verisign.

What you need to know
We at SparkGate take your security very seriously. Any personal details you transmit to us via our website are not viewed by staff unless under circumstances where we must use them in cooperation with Law enforcement. Your personal details are stored on a secured database protected by the latest security that we have personally invested in aswell as standard security feautures installed from WHMCS (our billing provider).

We will be contacting Verisign tomorrow as a priority to resolve what has happened, we intend to have our Verified status reinstated by Monday.

Thank you
We would like to thank you for your cooperation in this matter and understanding the importance and seriousness of this. We want you, the customer to feel secured and we respect your trust in us. Believe me, our every bit of trust is in you.

I will leave you with this and update you with more info.

Sleep tight Sparks!
